Lawn mower, cutoff saw, table saw, shop vac, a small air compressor; it has all worked just fine. The lighted end is handy because you know right away if the cord is live or not. I should have bought one of these years ago. It works great, but again this is 12 gauges so it will be heavy and thick. I wish there was a 13 gauge to cross between the two as 14 is not thick enough and 12 is well too thick. It is made of a nice vinyl that will probably stand up to many years of abuse and neglect that we will most likely do to it.
