This review is from: Shark Cordless 3 Speed Sweeper - V1917 - Factory Serviced (Kitchen) The Shark sweeper arrived very promptly and went together with ease. I have used Shark sweepers in the past and found the three speed option, altho very nice, does not seem, for me,to be an added benefit as I usually run it on the high button all the time. I do love the sweeper and would definately purchase another one in the future. The fact that it was a factory serviced sweeper, did not seem to make a difference in performance and the fact the price was good was a plus. Kept charging it but got got warm and still no power. I went on the web to research and found out you will need to replace the battery ever 4 months. If you're going to do that, Just buy one that's 3 or 4 hundred dollars and call it a day. You will save money in the long run and will have a more reliable and stronger vacuum. I guess you get what you pay for. I own a business and have had customers take the shark from me so they can try it! I would be using it and they would come grab it and ask where I bought it and where they can get one. Many have been back to tell me they bought one, and just love it. Light weight, powerful motor and picks up better than any upright I have used. Make sure you buy one that has three speeds.
