Keeping the library and images on the Elgato SSD has been a huge boost to overall performance. It makes editing photos on the road fast and enjoyable; night and day difference compared to trying to do it with a USB drive. For those who like numbers - I'm seeing about 230MB/sec for copies to or from the Elgato SSD. It's rather shocking how fast even large files can be moved around with this little gem. The all-metal case seems very rugged, and it looks nice too. Running Adobe software from an internal SSD, writing to this, and scratching to a standard internal drive feels pretty bleeding edge (for the moment).
